CADENCE · Sales and inventory management

Your sales have a rhythm. So does your inventory.

CADENCE manages sales and inventory for independent jewellers and watch retailers.
A dashboard connected to your till, maintained by CADENCE, that makes your figures readable: what turns, what sits, what each department ties up.
Every week, a precise recommendation, line by line: what CADENCE advises you to buy, return, transfer or mark down.

The specialty

Jewellery & watchmaking, where every reference counts

Jewellery and watch inventory concentrates considerable value in a limited number of pieces, with a complexity generic software cannot handle: ring sizes, matching sets, metal and stone variations, multiple references, one-of-a-kind pieces, brand quotas. That is precisely why CADENCE is dedicated to it exclusively.

The offer

Three beats, like a measure

I.

THE FIRST CONVERSATION

Thirty minutes, by video call or in your store

What the house sells, which point-of-sale software, what is holding you back today. At the end, CADENCE tells you whether the matter is an inventory one, and what the next step is. No quote, no document, no follow-up.

Complimentary, no commitment

II.

THE DIAGNOSTIC

Ten days, the first figure on day one

Day one in your store, with you, in the window, the back room and the till. Then your inventory's baseline: value, stock turn, cover, idle stock, real margin. The plan for the year, written, quantified, dated. A dashboard connected to your till, built in your own environment, and yours to keep whatever happens. For a house with several stores: twelve days, a reading per store and a consolidated one.

THE MONTHLY MANAGEMENT

Eight hours of CADENCE every month, one of them with you

The dashboard kept up to date. A weekly alert email: buy, return, mark down, review. A monthly call that starts with what has been done. The trade-show sheet before each order, twice a year. A lighter formula exists for houses with three to five staff.

Our support

Once the diagnostic is done, management follows a calendar known in advance:

Every week

Your action list: what to buy, return, mark down or transfer this week, with the reason and the amount. The extraction is done for you; there is no screen to dig through.

Every month

One hour together: on a call, in your dashboard, on up-to-date figures. What moved, what is stuck, why, and what is decided next. Store by store when there are several: the piece sitting here and missing there shows up, and the transfer gets decided.

Every quarter

The value review: what the quarter freed, recovered and avoided, measured against the diagnostic's baseline.

Before each trade show

The buying plan, set before walking in: what is missing from the window, what has sat in the back room for over a year, what each brand actually returned per euro tied up, and the budget available per department. On the day, all that is left is choosing the pieces.

Every year

The file per brand: stock turn, margins and observed terms, to prepare each supplier meeting with facts.

The app

Management, in your pocket.

Your dashboard, built and maintained by CADENCE in your own environment, refreshed without anyone lifting a finger. On desktop as on mobile: on the shop floor, in the back room, in front of a supplier. Sales, stock turn, cover, idle inventory, by reference and by store.

Without changing your POS software.
Confidentiality

Your data stays with you

A written commitment, first

A non-disclosure agreement is put in place before any data is exchanged. It covers your sales, inventory, margins and suppliers, with no time limit.

In your environment, under your control

The dashboard is built in your own environment, on your existing access and workspaces: nothing is hosted elsewhere, and the access granted can be revoked at any time.

A reversible relationship

At the end of the collaboration, you receive your full configuration file, the history of every decision and written confirmation that access has been revoked. Your autonomy is preserved at every step.

The founder

Chloé Reynès

Chloé Reynès, founder of CADENCE

Chloé Reynès brings eight years of experience in luxury supply chain and operations, in France and abroad, where distribution, inventory, sales and performance meet, close to the stores.

CADENCE grew out of that experience and one conviction: in watchmaking and jewellery, data is only worth something if it leads to a concrete decision, fitted to high-value pieces, controlled volumes and a particular demand for availability.

Her method balances data and the field: the figures structure the decision, while listening to teams and stores reveals the realities the figures cannot show on their own.

Before you begin

Your questions

Do we need to change our POS software?

No. CADENCE integrates with your existing environment. It is one of the first checks carried out in the very first conversation, to confirm that automatic connections are possible. Your teams keep their working habits.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere but with you: the dashboard lives in your own environment, under your own access. A non-disclosure agreement is signed before any exchange, and the details are set out in the Confidentiality section above.

How long before the first results?

The diagnostic delivers a first figure on day one. The dashboard is then operational within a few weeks, depending on your point-of-sale software and the state of the data.

Will my teams have to do more work?

No. The point is precisely to reduce the operational load. Data refreshes automatically: no additional preparation is asked of the teams. A short briefing is enough to ensure the quality of till entries.

Do I need to be comfortable with technology?

No. One training session is enough. The dashboard reads like a statement: every indicator is explained, and no figure is presented without context. An indicator that does not lead to a clear decision has no reason to stay.

What happens if I stop?

You keep the dashboard, your data, the history of decisions and the complete configuration file, with written confirmation that CADENCE's access has been revoked.
